- MODERN TEACHING METHODS
Teaching in the LC SPEAK UP is based on communicative methods (The Communicative Approach) and latest advanced achievements in methodology. The aim of our language center is to teach our students active and correct communication in whatever language they’ve chosen to learn, successfully participate in a foreign communication and use a foreign language in life. We teach both the language and the culture of the country. We start talking to our students in a foreign language from the first lesson. As you become our student you develop all basic skills: oral and written speech, reading and listening comprehension. Simultaneously, students are taught grammar and increase their vocabulary. Excellent results of using this communicative approach have proved its efficiency in the course of our seven years of work. Today, this particular approach is considered by the leading specialists in the sphere of linguistic education to be the most efficient. Nowadays, it is used by most of the leading Language centers of the world, including LC SPEAK UP.
- WHAT LANGUAGE DO WE SPEAK?
We start talking to our students in a foreign language from the first lesson. Our teachers can make their speech easy and comprehensible for your language level. This approach develops listening comprehension ability, breaks the language barrier and ensures a quicker and more efficient learning to speak. One of the obligatory stages in language learning is the development of fluency. A teacher divides his students in pairs or mini-groups (if the lesson is in a group) or himself becomes a participant in the communication process (if it is an individual lesson). In the course of group or pair work our students get rid of restraint in communication, break the language barrier and become independent in their speech activities.
- THE NUMBER OF STUDENTS IN A GROUP
In accordance with our teaching methods we conduct our lessons in mini-groups (2 students, 3-4 students) and standard groups (5-12 students). This number of students is considered to be optimal to achieve the main aim of education – the ability to freely express them in a foreign language.
- VARIETY OF LEVELS AND COURSES
Our Language Center offers language courses and levels for any customer. We have what to teach both to university graduates and people, who have never learned a foreign language: children, teenagers, adults, corporate clients, businessmen and housewives. Also, we are glad to offer interesting intensive programs with our teachers – native-speakers. Lessons are conducted all 12 moths of the year. Our center offers efficient teaching and active training for the most popular in the world international examinations in foreign languages. They are Cambridge examinations: FCE, CAE, CPE, as well as TOEFL, IELTS, DELF.
- EUROPEAN SYSTEM OF EDUCATION
Education in LC SPEAK UP is in accordance with CEF (Common European Framework for Modern Languages). Students get international certificates after finishing courses and taking oral and written examinations.
- INTERNATIONAL TEAM OF TEACHERS
The teachers working in our center have international certificates of teaching foreign languages. Most of our teachers have more than 5 years of teaching experience. Besides highly qualified Russian-speaking teachers we have native-speakers.
- STRICT QUALITY CONTROL OF TEACHING
Every year the work of our center is supervised by the Department of Education of Moscow. Following the results of the latest inspections LC SPEAK UP has become one of the best language centers of Moscow.
