Training for examinations

LC SPEAK UP trains students for all kinds of examinations:

• Training for Unified State Examination in a foreign Language
• Training for entrance, intermediate and final examinations
• Training for international examinations

International examinations in English:

- Cambridge proficiency English examinations:

1) FCE (First Certificate in English) – first level of proficiency in English.
2) CAE (Certificate in Advanced English) – second level of proficiency in English.
3) CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) – proficiency in English at the level of a “native speaker”.
4) IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – Academic Module and General Training Module), the equivalent of American TOEFL.

- American examination:
TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – international English examination is an opportunity to get to all educational institutions and large companies in the USA and Canada.
International examinations in French:

• DELF. General examination in French presuming the basic level of proficiency.
• CEFP 1. It is aimed at checking proficiency in French at elementary level. The test results show that a candidate has the sufficient knowledge for basic communication.
• CEFP 2. It is aimed at checking proficiency in French at intermediate level.  The test results show that a candidate has the sufficient knowledge for free communication in everyday situations. DL. International examination in French confirming the advanced level and it is recognized in many countries (Portugal – permission to teach French, Switzerland – office work in French companies).
• DALF. International examination of extra complexity presuming the advanced level of language proficiency.
• DHEF. The examination of extra complexity gives foreigners the permission to teach French and is recognized by the Ministry of Education of France.

International examinations in German:

• ZD (Zertificat Deutsch). This international examination is meant for lower intermediate level and assesses basic language skills. It is recognized in Germany as entrance examination to technical schools and to get German citizenship.
• TestDaf. Passing this examination by a foreigner gives the right to enter any German institution of higher education and the permission to work in German companies equally with native-speakers.
• DSH. After this examination a foreigner may enter any German institution of higher education and work at any German enterprises.
• KDS. International examination of advanced level, which is recognized by German universities for enrollment. KDS Diploma gives the authorization to teach German in several European countries.
• GDS. International examination of advanced level proves the highest proficiency in German. It gives the right to study and work in the German-speaking countries.
• ZMP. It is recognized as an entrance examination in technical schools and Higher Education Institutions of Germany.
• ZOP. Academic examination for those, who wish to enter any University in Germany.
• PWD. International examination in business German enables maintaining business contacts in the sphere of entrepreneurship, finance, marketing and office management.

International examinations in Spanish:

• CIE. The initial certificate in Spanish confirms the elementary level and is recognized by different educational institutions, Chamber of Commerce and other organizations at international level.
• DBE. Examination of the intermediate level and assesses the level of language skills, as well vocabulary and grammar proficiency.
• DSE. Examination of the advanced level assesses the mastery of language skills at professional level. It gives the permission to teach Spanish as a foreign language.
• DELE. Diploma de Espanol como Lengua Extranjera (DELE) – the document, which is the official confirmation the level of proficiency in Spanish, issued by Cervantes Institute on behalf of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport of Spain. Today, DELE certificates are recognized by the state and educational institutions, as well as by the companies in more than a hundred countries of the world.

International examinations in Italian:

• CILS 1. The first level of this examination confirms the basic knowledge of Italian, necessary for communication and everyday life.
• CILS 2. Passing this examination by a foreigner gives the right to enter Higher Education Institutions in Italy.
• CILS 3. This examination confirms fluency in Italian, sufficient to live and work in Italy.
• CILS 4. This examination confirms your proficiency at the level of a native-speaker. It gives permission to teach up to the intermediate level.

Students are checked all 4 language skills: reading, writing, listening comprehension and speaking.
